             Summary.  The genetic structure of Kabardian
           horse  breed  on DNA microsatellites loci  was
           studied for the •rst time. Speci•c characteristics
           of  the  population  were  revealed  and  it  was
           assessed the possibility of use of this method to
           determine the  hylogenetic relationships
           between domestic  breeds and to identify
